Project Bread is committed to preventing and ending hunger in Massachusetts by providing access to affordable, healthy food to those in need today, while also working to eradicate the systemic causes of hunger, through advocacy, education, and community engagement. We believe that the opposite of hungry isn't simply full — it's healthy.
And because there's no single face of hunger, we develop multiple solutions that meet people where they are — solutions that provide people of all ages, backgrounds, and circumstances with sustainable, reliable access to nutritious food.
We work to break the cycle of hunger by devising, funding, advocating for, and facilitating solutions that drive change at a macro level.
As the only statewide anti-hunger organization, we listen and learn, identify needs and opportunities, and connect people, resources, and programs—in ways both tried and new. We rely on our partners, donors, corporate sponsors, and thousands of engaged citizens who participate each year in The Walk for Hunger, to help advance this vital work.
We offer a wide range of partnership opportunities that can be customized to meet common objectives, from Walk for Hunger sponsorship to program-specific alignment to employee engagement.
