Events

We have events throughout the year to raise vital funds for our programs, thank our generous donors, or inform the public about our initiatives.

December 6, 2016

Need inspiration for your holiday party? Enjoy eating delicious appetizers and sampling seasonal cocktails? Join Project Bread for some friendly competition in the kitchen between our chefs as they cook-off against each other to create the appetizer you most want to eat at your own holiday parties.

Join Project Bread for a fun evening with young professionals and meet some dynamic chefs who are changing school lunch menus in Massachusetts!

We are hosting our first ever Chef Cook-Off at the Boston Public Market - KITCHEN. Project Bread Chefs will engage in a friendly competition to make the best holiday appetizers and holiday cocktails and YOU decide who wins! Sample dishes, enjoy seasonal cocktails and beer and wine while supporting Project Bread's programs.

Tickets are $25 and include a drink ticket and lots of yummy samples of chef cook-off holiday appetizers.

Purchase Tickets: www.projectbread.org/cookoff

Proceeds from the Cook-Off will support Project Bread’s childhood nutrition initiatives like the Chefs in Schools program. Happy Holidays–see you in THE KITCHEN!

May 3, 2015

Join us for this year's Walk! On Sunday May 3, 2015 more than 40,000 Walkers, 2,000 volunteers, and a generous group of donors will join together in a community event like no other in America. Together, they will raise awareness around hunger in our state, make a powerful statement about our shared commitment to help people in need, and, importantly, raise the dollars that make it possible for Project Bread to develop, fund, and facilitate much-needed programs—programs that interrupt the cycle of food insecurity in our communities, programs that improve the lives of individuals and families, programs that provide hope. For more information go to www.projectbread.org/walk.
