Are you looking to incorporate more scratch cooking into your school meal program? Please join Project Bread's Chef Educators for "Getting Started with Scratch Cooking," a free online class outlining effective ways to introduce more scratch cooking into your school meal program.

This class will include tried and true Chefs in Schools recipes that have been tested and approved by students all across Massachusetts. The recipes include various approaches to incorporating scratch cooking into meal production while navigating time, budget and staffing constraints.

This training is intended for school food service professionals, including school nutrition directors, cafeteria managers, head cooks, prep cooks, and anyone wanting to learn more about introducing more vegetarian options into their meal program.

This training meets the following Professional Standards Learning Objectives:

  • 2130 (develop culinary skills necessary for school meal preparation, 90 min.).
