Improving the quality of food for kids
Because nearly every child experiencing food insecurity in MA attends a public school, school meals provide a huge opportunity to ensuring their nutritional needs are met. School meals make up more than half their daily calories! The quality of these meals has a significant impact on their health, behavior, and academic success. To help children reach their potential, Project Bread partners with these school districts to make over their food service programs to offer healthier, better quality meals to fuel student’s success.
