The Nutrition Services Coordinator will respond to referrals and develop service plans custom-ized to meet the individual needs of each client so that they can access the healthy foods needed to best manage their health conditions. This position will primarily work with members remotely, but the role may include some in-person visits on an as needed basis (post-coronavirus).
This position will help create an engaging, inclusive, and equitable staff culture and manage the human resource function.
The Chef Educator will train public school nutrition staff on strategies for improving the quality and palatability of school meals. As part of Project Bread’s School Food Fellowship, the Chef Educator will focus specifically on the culinary, presentation, marketing and customer service skills needed to provide healthy, affordable, and appealing food for public school students. The Chef Educator will work collaboratively with other programs across the organization, including the Healthcare Partnerships and Community Partnerships Programs to provide culinary training to target audiences within those programs. Regional travel is required.
The SNAP Enrollment Coordinator will work to increase participation in SNAP (previously known as the Food Stamp Program) by screening clients for eligibility and helping them with the application process using the state’s online application tool, DTA Connect.
