The Development Operations Database Coordinator supports the operation of Project Bread’s Development Office to maintain and improve the Raiser’s Edge NXT donor database. The Coordinator’s primary responsibilities include data entry and proper gift acknowledgment, ensuring database integrity, maintaining efficient database operations, and most important, ensuring that the database is an effective fundraising tool for the development department.
Project Bread’s FoodSource Hotline is an information and referral service designed to connect Massachusetts residents in need with a variety of food resources in their local community. FoodSource Hotline counselors provide direct assistance to 25,000+ callers per year who are struggling with food insecurity. Working as part of a team, counselors listen to the individual stories of each caller; refer them to community food programs and other helpful resources, as well as provide over-the-phone SNAP (formerly food stamps) screening and application assistance and follow-up with applicants throughout the process.
Project Bread has partnered with multiple ACOs to receive referrals for food insecure individuals who have a medical diagnosis. The Nutrition Services Coordinator conducts assessments and develop individualized nutrition service plans so that each client can access the healthy foods needed to improve improve their nutrition and food security.

As the Copywriter and Content Manager, your focus is two fold: fundraiser and creative marketer focused on copywriting. One of your primary responsibilities is to develop and execute a supporter-centric email marketing and fundraising strategy for Project Bread. A second is to develop exceptional creative concepts and messaging to engage people who may be able to benefit from the many food access programs and services we promote, including Summer Eats, SNAP, School Meals, and our FoodSource Hotline.
