  • Chef Educator

    The Chef Educator will train public school nutrition staff on strategies for improving the quality and palatability of school meals. As part of Project Bread’s School Food Fellowship, the Chef Educator will focus specifically on the culinary, presentation, marketing and customer service skills needed to provide healthy, affordable, and appealing food for public school students. The Chef Educator will work collaboratively with other programs across the organization, including the Healthcare Partnerships and Community Partnerships Programs to provide culinary training to target audiences within those programs. Frequent regional travel and occasional statewide travel is required.

  • Development Associate

    The Development Associate is an integral part of the fundraising team, with a focus on administrative support for Project Bread’s community of fundraising relationships and executing department projects. The ideal candidate will have exemplary project management skills, attention to detail, and enthusiasm for interacting with people from a broad range of backgrounds and perspectives.

  • Bilingual FoodSource Hotline Counselor

    FoodSource Hotline counselors provide direct assistance to 25,000+ callers per year who are struggling with food insecurity. Working as part of a team, counselors listen to the individual stories of each caller; refer them to community food programs and other helpful resources, as well as provide over-the-phone SNAP (formerly food stamps) screening and application assistance and follow-up with applicants throughout the process.

  • Bilingual SNAP Enrollment Coordinator - Boston

    The SNAP Enrollment Coordinator will work to increase participation in SNAP (previously known as the Food Stamp Program) by screening clients for eligibility and helping them with the application process using the state’s online application tool, DTA Connect. SNAP Enrollment Coordinators provide in-person assistance at health centers and social service organizations in Greater Boston.
