  • Grants Manager

    The Grants Manager, a new position on the fundraising team, will help advance Project Bread’s mission to permanently solve hunger in Massachusetts. The successful candidate supports various components of foundation fundraising from researching, identifying, and pursuing grant prospects, to building relationships with foundation, government, corporate, and individual donors. The successful candidate for this role will be an excellent writer, with a strong attention to detail. They will need high-level organizational skills to help manage a robust pipeline of funding opportunities and an eye for systems-thinking to help the organization anticipate change.

  • Research and Evaluation Consultant – Cape Verdean Creole

    As part of an ongoing study, the R&E Consultant will support focus group and phone survey data collection in Cape Verdean Creole. For the focus group, the R&E Consultant will recruit participants, facilitate the focus group, and transcribe the recording of the focus group. The R&E Consultant will also collect phone survey data in Cape Verdean Creole.

  • Research and Evaluation Intern

    As a member of the Research and Evaluation team, the R&E Intern will support research and evaluation activities for the team and organization. In particular, the primary responsibility of the R&E Intern will collect phone survey data. The R&E Intern may also support other activities involving transcription, evaluation, technical assistance, and data collection for focus groups.

  • Advocacy Manager

    The Advocacy Manager is responsible for the development and maintenance of a strong network of volunteer advocates and community leaders/partners in order to engage in public policy campaigns in support of Project Bread’s state and federal policy agendas. The Manager will work closely with fellow members of the Policy Team and will collaborate regularly with other Project Bread staff, such as the communications team, Child Nutrition Outreach Program, Health Care Partnerships, and Community Partnerships.

  • Assistant Director, Individual Giving

    In this newly created role, the Assistant Director, Individual Giving will be instrumental in growing and developing Project Bread’s fundraising from individuals, with a focus on direct mail, mid-level donors, and peer to peer fundraising through the Walk for Hunger. The role will contribute directly to $5.5m in revenue annually from the Walk for Hunger and individual fundraising, 50% of total organizational annual revenue. The Assistant Director, Individual Giving will be a key contributor to department strategy and be a frontline fundraiser, cultivating individuals, families, and peer-to-peer fundraisers. The Assistant Director will also be a member of the cross-functional leadership team, regularly contributing expertise and experience to organization wide strategic initiatives.
