Become a 2019 sponsor of Project Bread's 51st Walk for Hunger — Sunday, May 5, 2019

A beloved and time-honored community event, Project Bread's Walk for Hunger is a Boston institution that crosses economic, cultural, social, and generational lines. Each year, 10,000-plus participants lace up their sneakers and meet on Boston Common to call attention to the issue of hunger and raise critical funds for community programs.

Many complete the historic 20-mile route that passes through Boston, Brookline, Watertown, Newton, and Cambridge, and the Walk offers a variety of ways for people of all ages and abilities to get involved. Kick-off the day with the 5K Run, volunteer to ensure a safe and fun experience for participants, or simply stay on the Common to hear inspiring guest speakers and explore innovative anti-hunger work at our newest addition to the Walk—the Hunger Solutions Village.

In 2018, Project Bread invested $1 million in community solutions to hunger across Massachusetts made possible by the Walk for Hunger.

Hunger is a complex issue, but it is 100% solvable. We'd love to work with you to advance change, fix broken systems, and make Massachusetts a healthier place for our neighbors to live. We hope to hear from you!
