2013 Grant Applications


Project Bread’s Grant Application is now available! All applications must be emailed by February 15, 2013. We will notify applicants of our decisions in September 2013.



Please read all instructions and guidelines on this webpage as well as those included with the grant application before filling out the application.

Filling out the Application

Please note that the application can only be filled out using Adobe Acrobat. This software is free. Please click here to download the program if you do not already have it.

To begin, simply save the You need Adobe Acrobat to fill out  this document. 2013 Project Bread Grant Application file to your computer. Be sure when you open the application to enter data it is opening in Adobe. If not, open Adobe first and then open the application by selecting “File” and “Open” on the toolbar in Adobe. Type in your responses to each question, and click on the appropriate check boxes, using your mouse, to mark your response. Don’t worry if you can’t complete the application in one sitting; you can save it, and come back and finish it later.

If your computer does not have the latest version of Adobe Acrobat, you may receive an error message when you open up the application file. If you receive this error message, simply click “OK” to close the error message, and fill out the application as before. You do not have to download the latest version of Adobe Acrobat to continue.

Submitting the Application

When you have completed the application, save it to your computer and then attach the application to an email message, enter the name of your agency in the subject line, and email to: Eileen_Terchiak@projectbread.org.

If you are unable to send  your application by email, you must call Eileen Terchiak at 617-239-2589 to receive the correct version of the application. Do NOT mail this version of the application.

Important note for members of food bank, food rescue, and community farming programs

If you are a member of food bank, food rescue, and community farming programs, contact Eileen Terchiak to receive an electronic version of the specific grant application for your program. Do NOT fill out this application.
