Why your gift is important
There are more than 750,000 people in the state that are food insecure. With the foreclosures, layoffs, and rising food costs, more people than ever before in our communities are struggling to put food on the table. Project Bread's mission is to alleviate, prevent, and ultimately end hunger right here in Massachusetts.

You make our work possible!
Thank you for considering a donation to Project Bread. Because of the extraordinary support Project Bread receives — predominantly from private citizens — we are able to keep our expenses very low. When you donate online to Project Bread, your gift goes where it is needed most — to feed hungry people in Massachusetts. Project Bread is proud to allocate 80% of our funds directly to help the hungry through emergency food grants and hunger prevention programs.
