Parties for a Good Cause!
Weddings and Other Special Celebrations
Are you getting married and trying to find the perfect favor? Is there a Bar or Bat Mitzvah on the horizon and you want to give a special gift in honor of your guests? The next time you have a celebration, include Project Bread! We are pleased to offer our new Favors program which is ideal for weddings, religious celebrations, birthday parties, corporate and other special occasions. Party planners can give a tax-deductible donation of any amount to Project Bread and we will work with each individual to tailor a Favors plan that works best for your celebration. Not only will your guests thank you for your gesture, but you will be helping to alleviate hunger in Massachusetts.
For examples of language to use for your favors, click here.
Project Bread will print out any message of your choice on our 4” by 8” birch paper. Once received, you can tailor the scrolls with the colors and embellishments of your choice.
Another way you can support Project Bread is by registering with the I Do Foundation. From honeymoons to invitations to wedding gifts to charitable wedding favors, the I Do Foundation allows couples and their guests to make wedding-related purchases that generate donations for charity. The I Do Foundation's Charity Registry service also makes it easy for guests to make donations in lieu of gifts. All of these services are available free of cost at www.IDoFoundation.org. Check it out today, and be sure to select Project Bread as the beneficiary of your charitable wedding.
We can also send personalized PDF’s for party planners to print out customized messages on paper of their choice.
Fundraising Events
If you would like to receive a tribute gift to Project Bread in lieu of gifts for a special occasion, we can help! Set up your own Webpage and stay in touch with your friends and family by email. Not only are you helping your hungry neighbors throughout the state, but the money raised is tax deductible. Project Bread’s events program is a win-win! To receive more information about this new program, please contact Tracy Poliseno, director of annual giving, at 617-239-2516 or tracy_poliseno@projectbread.org.
We look forward to working with you.
