Five Things: Resident is Champion of Walk for Hunger

1) Somervillian walks for hunger Somerville resident Lynn Geltman has raised more than $40,000 over the course of 22 years of participating in The Walk for Hunger, according to an email from Project Bread, which organizes the annual walk. Geltman has raised over $500 a year every year since 1997, the email says.
2) Licensing commission The Somerville Licensing commission meets tonight at 6 p.m. at the Tufts Administration Building. Among other things, it will continue a discussion about prohibiting the announcement of "last call" at bars.
3) Fish tacos Olde Magoun's Saloon is offering plates of fish tacos tonight for $6.
4) Comedy, trivia, open mics For comedy, head to Sally O'Brien's at 7 p.m. for its weekly open mic night. The winning comic gets dinner on the house. For pub trivia, check out Bull McCabe's at 8 p.m. or Johnny D's at 8:30 p.m. If you're looking to perform, PA's Lounge has an open mic all day long.
5) Weather and Red Sox The Red Sox start a road trip with a game against the Twins tonight at 8:10 p.m. Lots of rain, and highs in the mid 50s.
