We've compiled the top three actions you can take on Giving Tuesday to help us fight hunger in Massachusetts.
Did you know that Giving Tuesday is one of Project Bread's biggest days for fundraising? We wanted to share with you the top three ways you can support the fight against hunger in Massachusetts by helping to raise funds for our work here at Project Bread.
Creating and sharing a personal fundraiser on Facebook for Giving Tuesday lets you spread the word and support Project Bread's mission—to provide food for those hungry today and to work to break the cycle of hunger through advocacy, education, and community action. It's super easy, and it's a great way of tapping into your social media network of friends and family to help contribute.
Simply go to https://fb.com/fund/projectbread where you will be led through a set of easy questions that will have your fundraiser up and running in no time.
We recommend you set up your fundraiser in advance, prep your friends and family before Giving Tuesday, and then share your personal fundraiser early on December 3, starting at 8 a.m. It's also helpful to announce milestones throughout the day, for example, "Only three hours left to help fight hunger in Massachusetts!" Of course you don't have to end your fundraiser just because Giving Tuesday ends. Keep raising money until you've reached your goal!
We'll be posting Giving Tuesday content all day, so the more you share, the more you help spread the word and support Project Bread's mission to provide food for those hungry today and to work to break the cycle of hunger through advocacy, education, and community action. Be sure you follow us on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram so you can share our posts throughout Giving Tuesday
Your kindness makes all the difference in the lives of hungry children and families throughout Massachusetts! Thank you! You can give here.
